I haven't made Mother's Day cards in years. Well, I thought I'd better get going on it. This is what I came up with. I embossed the yellow cardstock with my Sizzix Texture Boutique and then punched borders on my pattered paper.
Challenges Covered:
Our Creative Corner - bows
Raise the Bar - Spring theme/flowers
Allsorts Challenge Blog - petals and pearls (pearls next to image)
Crazy 4 Challenges - 1 ribbon, 2 buttons or brads, 3 punches
365 Cards - glitter blossom (glitter added to felt flowers)
I used two punches for the stamped image, colored the image with Copics and then airbrushed the background. This is the second time I've tried airbrushing. It turned out pretty good, but I'm hoping to learn more with the "Everything Copic" class that I'm currently taking.
Copics: E21, E25, E95, Y17, YR68, R43, V12, B02, YR68 and ABS
Thanks for visiting! I really appreciate all of my followers. I hope all is well with each of you. Brenda and I are getting a "break" this weekend. No kid and no clients! If the weather is nice, we're going to have a "friendly" fire on Saturday night (after play rehearsal). Take care! XOXOXO
