I've been swamped with work, so I've neglected my scrappin' studies. In the meantime, I want to show something I made a while ago, but never posted. I made it during my "altered tin-making" obsession. It's simpler than many other tins I've made, but I wanted to do something special for Merceydeis. Her nickname is "Ceydei" so I stamped the letters with the cutest alphabet set on patterned paper and adhered them to cardstock that I scored to fold accordian style. The little "booklet" fits in there perfectly and the first letter shows through the window in the tin.
I used black StazOn ink to stamp some flower stems on the outside of the tin and used some jewel-like embellishments for the final touch. Merceydeis keeps it on her desk at home... she loves it. These little tins are super cute and there are so many gifties you can make with them. The best part... they come in packs of four! They even make the window tins in circle!
